Instructor - The Design Lab
I completed my bachelor degrees at UBC (Vancouver) and my Master's degree at Gonzaga (Washington State). I've been teaching digital design since 1995 and designing digitally since about 1983. I'm also involved in a variety of activities such as hockey (playing & coaching) and music (I play a variety of instruments).
My Mission
I have created the design lab to teach real-world 21st century digital design skills to my students. My goal is to engage students with industry standard tools to creatively achieve a variety of design goals. Students will be introduced to the concepts of 2D image manipulation, 2D illustration, 2D & 3D modelling & animation, video editing, web design, and video game design. Students who attend regularly will have the ability to develop lifelong skills in the use of these design tools and will be introduced to a potential career path in the digital design industry.
